It depends on your hosting plan. For VPS and Dedicated Server customers with MySQL installed on their server, remote MySQL access through the hardware firewalls can be enabled if required.
For shared hosting customers, or VPS or Dedicated Server customers using our shared MySQL Database Servers, remote access is not possible. You can only access your database via PHPMyAdmin.
