I've lost my password. Can you tell me what it is?

General Support
In 99% of cases we can't tell you what your password is because we don't know.  You password is stored in the database using MD5 encryption which means that it cannot be decrypted.

Depending upon what service you've lost your password for, you can either request a new one or change the existing one.

HELM Control Panel Password
You can request a new password for the Control Panel by clicking on the the "Click here if you've forgotten your login details" link on the login page.

When you do this you will be sent an email to the email addresses stored in the "personal details" section of the Control Panel (you must keep these details up-to-date).  The email will contain a link.  If you click on this link the Control Panel will reset your login password then email the new one to you.  If you don't click on the link nothing will happen and the link will expire within 24 hours.

FTP & Email Password from HELM
You can reset these from within the Control Panel.  These passwords usually require you to know the original password, so if you can't remember that could be difficult.

You can submit a support request to us on support@rackteam.com, providing all the necessary details, and we can reset the password without knowing the original.  This will always be a low-priority support task for us, so don't expect an immediate answer.
