What is a POP account?

Email & Webmail
POP3 (Post Office Protocol) is a protocol that is used to download email messages from an email server to your computer.

With a POP email account, all of the email messages sent to your email address are stored on a POP3 mail server until you log on to the server and download the messages.

We provide access to POP3 email accounts with most hosting plans. You can use Webmail (a web-based email application) to view your messages online, or you can use a traditional email client such as Outlook to collect your emails.
